Samsung Nepal will be launching their new smartphone Samsung Galaxy On 7 Pro in March in the Nepali market. This sleek mid-range smartphone with 4G network is packed with a host of features and services. The On 7 Pro is a gorgeous smartphone which is an affordable luxury at Rs 17,490 which enables users to seamlessly integrate their personal and professional life.
“We have high expectations for the On 7 Pro, the customers will definitely like this smartphone as it’s an amazing device in terms of performance and price,” said Pranaya Ratna Sthapit, Head- HHP Division at Samsung Nepal. “It is equipped with localised features like Ultra Data Saving (UDS), which helps save up to 50 per cent data and S-bike mode for hassle-free bike ride.”
The On 7 Pro comes with a state-of-the-art design with chrome finishing on the edges and sports a 5.5-inch Thin Film Transistor (TFT) LCD display with 720p resolution providing perfect resolution for an enhanced viewing experience.
“The major selling point of this phone is its wide display and slim design which is stylish yet reasonable. The users can also take full advantage of the advanced camera interface that Samsung is offering on this budget-friendly phone,” asserted Sthapit.
The device runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor clocked at Quad-core 1.2GHz coupled with an Adreno 306 Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) for improved graphics while viewing videos and playing games. The Operating System (OS) of the smartphone features Android 6.0.1 the latest version of Marshmallow skinned with custom Touchwiz UI which offers efficient multitasking and smooth experience.
“Samsung is one of the market leaders in the mobile phone market in Nepal and offers budget to high-end smartphones. Samsung is always trying to bring new and innovative technology every year and now we have come up with unique localised features especially for the Nepali market,” added Sthapit.
The On 7 Pro lets users take great shots with its 13MP sensor rear camera with auto mode, pro mode, panorama, continuous shots and beauty mode and takes photos with effects. The 5MP front-facing camera hosts smarter selfie functions like wide selfie and palm gesture selfie. The camera interface on On 7 Pro is quite a good performer and takes good quality photos.
The On 7 Pro packs a powerful punch with a decent 3,000mAh removable battery to run this powerhouse which ensures good capacity, longer battery life for a budget device. The smartphone is packed with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal memory that is expandable up to 256GB via microSD card.
The smartphone supports 4G LTE and has dual SIM card function. Connectivity options in the phone include Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi direct and hotspot. The localised featuers it offers are UDS and Sbike Mode. The device is equipped with accelerometre and proximity sensors.
The company is also promoting their 4G SMS campaign, which offers cash-back up to 100 per cent and 50 per cent on purchase of any Samsung 4G smartphone along with Rs 1,000 and Rs 100 worth top-up. Customers have to message the unique serial number of the newly purchased smartphone to 37722.
